In certain jurisdictions, CBIZ CPAs operates under its previous name, Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Primary Duties</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bookkeeping: Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger entries.</p> </li><li> <p>Client Write-Ups: Prepare and review client write-ups, monthly financial statements, and other management reports.</p> </li><li> <p>Sales & Use Tax Filings: File accurate and timely sales and use tax returns for clients.</p> </li><li> <p>Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and other balance sheet account reconciliations.</p> </li><li> <p>Software Assistance: Assist clients with setting up, training, and troubleshooting accounting software such as Quickbooks.</p> </li><li> <p>Financial Reports: Provide clients with accurate financial information and reports to assist in business decision-making.</p> </li><li> <p>Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Client Communication: Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and exceptional service.</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</p> </li><li> <p>General knowledge of accounting principles and practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or similar environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Quickbooks (both Online and Desktop versions), Microsoft Word & Excel.</p> </li></ul> <p>The annual salary target for this job in this market is $75,000 - $85,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.</p> <p>The compensation above is not representative of an employee's total compensation.
