<p>Job Title: Assistant Project Manager</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual to step into the role of Assistant Project Manager for an ongoing water meter replacement, installation, and maintenance project. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in construction or utilities to grow into a project management position.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee water meter installation and maintenance projects. </li><li>Coordinate routine maintenance for new builds and larger-scale valve and pipe replacement projects. </li><li>Collaborate with clients and field crews. </li><li>Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and support foremen and crews. </li><li>Manage emergency repair scheduling and response. </li><li>Utilize internal project management software for planning and tracking. </li><li>Maintain communication with internal stakeholders and representatives. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of experience in construction, utilities, or related field. </li><li>Project management skills. </li><li>Construction management and project coordination. </li><li>Background in construction or engineering with piping experience. </li><li>Familiarity with project management tools and software. </li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Engineering or construction background is ideal. </li><li>Working knowledge of water main or water distribution systems preferred. </li><li>Flexibility to accommodate emergency repairs. </li><li>Construction management degree is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role requires working onsite, 7 days a week, and traveling to various sites. The candidate must be available on call for emergency responses.
