Living by these virtues, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and the highest quality of care.</p> <p>Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Physician/Provider Financial Analyst to join our team.</p> <p>In this role, you'll ensure accurate and compliant compensation for our employed providers by interpreting contracts, maintaining compensation systems, and collaborating with key departments. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, solving complex problems, and supporting healthcare professionals.</p> <p>Note - This is an on-site position. Prior experience in Provider compensation contracts and payroll is a must.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Interpret provider contracts and administer compensation in compliance with FLSA, Stark Law, and internal policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and audit the web-based compensation system; lead enhancements and vendor coordination.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze and process complex compensation components (e.g., call pay, shift pay, quality incentives).</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a subject matter expert for providers and leadership on compensation policies and practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, and Medical Group Administration to ensure accurate payments, budgeting, and reporting.</p> </li><li> <p>Create and present compensation reports and strategic recommendations to leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>Resolve provider compensation issues using critical thinking and data analysis.</p> </li><li> <p>Educate providers and leadership on compensation systems and regulatory requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Document procedures and support compliance, audits, and special projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to special projects and deliver executive-ready presentations as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must possess knowledge normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare related field, with four (4) or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with compensation systems, payroll processes, and healthcare regulations is a must.</p> </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <p>When Saint Alphonsus takes care of you, you can take better care of our patients.
