CHOP recognizes the critical importance of a workforce rich in varied backgrounds and experiences and engages in ongoing efforts to achieve that through equally varied and non-discriminatory means.</p> <p>A Brief Overview</p> <p>Participates in activities with Clinical Research Team in support of one or more clinical research studies and to gain a better understanding of protocols, issues and project developments.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the recruitment and consent of parents and children </li><li>Responsible for data collection through study participant interviews & screenings </li><li>Analyzes data through the use of memos, coding and qualitative analytic software </li><li>Assist in preparation of materials to submit for IRB approval </li><li>Assist in the preparation of reports and professional research papers </li><li>Renders age appropriate care & services based on the patient and/or their developmental needs </li></ul> <p>Education Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma / GED Required </li></ul> <p>Experience Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>1 prior internship or paid experience on clinical research Required </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Good written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Able to work in an organized fashion, work well with others </li><li>Good attention to detail </li><li>General knowledge and understanding of good clinical practice (GCP) </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office applications desirable </li><li>Demonstrates the knowledge & ability to render age appropriate care & services based on the patient and/or their developmental needs </li></ul> <p>To carry out its mission, CHOP is committed to supporting the health of our patients, families, workforce, and global community.
