Interface with various departments such as Manufacturing and Engineering, determine and record inspection criteria, methods and equipment.</p> <p>Your duties will include:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise hourly quality control personnel for all inspection areas. </li><li>Train and develop inspectors to increase their expertise and productivity. </li><li>Determine and document acceptance and rejection criteria. </li><li>Communicate with other departments within the company and with outside contacts. </li><li>Determine inspection gaging and equipment requirements for general and specific product applications. </li><li>Record, interpret and suggest corrective action for product complaints. </li><li>Manage personnel and expenses concerning the departmental budget. </li><li>Write procedures that relate to quality control functions. </li></ul> <p>Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.</p> <p>About You</p> <p>We might be a great match if you have:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lead, communicate and produce results. </li><li>Knowledge of functional gaging and application techniques, read engineering specifications, understanding geometric tolerancing. </li><li>Working knowledge of sampling techniques. </li><li>Knowledge of liquid penetrant and x-ray inspection. </li><li>Ability to investigate product complaints. </li></ul> <p>YOUR EDUCATION</p> <p>Required: High School Diploma or GED</p> <p>Preferred: Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>YOUR EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Minimum one year experience in a quality supervisory role</p> <p>Visual acuity requirements apply to the role, including peripheral, color, and depth perception.</p>
