Join Bethany as a Foster Care Adoption Supervisor.</p> <p>Are you a compassionate leader with a heart for child welfare and a drive to ensure every child finds a loving, permanent home? Bethany is seeking a Foster Care Adoption Supervisor to lead a dedicated team in delivering high-quality, mission-driven services to children and families navigating the foster care adoption journey.</p> <p>This unique role is split between supervising staff and managing your own caseload, offering a dynamic balance of leadership and direct service.</p> <p>This position is expected to function effectively with moderate supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Supervise, support, and develop a team of case managers; </li><li>Managed your own caseload, providing comprehensive case management from intake through adoptive placement and legal confirmation; </li><li>Ensure compliance with agency policies, state contracts, and licensing regulations; </li><li>Oversee case assignments and ensure quality assessments for children and families; </li><li>Foster a positive, cohesive team culture and manage staff scheduling and performance; </li><li>Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service delivery; </li><li>Represent Bethany in community forums and build strong relationships with external partners; </li><li>Contribute to program development, budgeting, and continuous improvement efforts; </li><li>Complete other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Human Services or a related field preferred; </li><li>2+ years of experience in a foster care adoption or home licensing within a child welfare agency; </li><li>1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience; </li><li>Strong clinical, therapeutic, critical thinking, and organizational abilities; </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems; </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; </li><li>Must exhibit an ability to apply the principles of logic and critical thinking with problem solving; </li><li>Work well under pressure and adaptable to change; </li><li>Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany. Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage; </li><li>Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries; </li><li>Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity. </li></ul> <p>#LI-KD1</p>
