<p>Position Description:</p> <p>The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking assistant, associate, and full professors to be part of its growing clinical, education and research missions in sub-specialty area of Adult Reconstruction Surgery.</p> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <ul> <li>The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at MCW includes 45 clinical faculty members, 3 active research faculty members, 52 advanced practice providers, 25 residents and 4 fellows. </li><li>Affiliated clinical sites include Froedtert Hospital, Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, Froedtert West Bend Hospital, Children's Wisconsin (CW), Zablocki Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC), and several ambulatory surgery centers in SE Wisconsin </li><li>Our total joint program currently consists of 6 teams (each team is composed of a physician and 1-2 APPs) practicing in academic and community settings who are skilled in hip and knee primary and revision arthroplasty reconstructive procedures for all indications, including custom-designed reconstructive implants. </li><li>Ability to perform same-day arthroplasty procedures in the hospital setting at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital and the new Menomonee Falls ASC Orthopaedic Center of Excellence. </li><li>Enjoy strong interdisciplinary collaboration, including collaboration with anesthesia through the pre-anesthesia testing clinic and patient optimization clinic, infectious disease, rheumatology, plastic surgery and other essential collaborators for optimal care of the arthroplasty population. </li><li>Access to a broad range of technology for surgical cases and research, including multiple robotic platforms and navigation systems. </li><li>Support for research is available throughout the broad range of the academic disciplines at MCW to meet the goals and interests of a new faculty member.
