<p>Receptionist</p> <p>Lake Country Veterinary Care is hiring a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our veterinary clients, setting the tone for their visit. Five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week with a regular day off. No weekend hours!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Greet clients and their pets, complete the appointment sign-in process, confirm appointment details, and escort clients to exam rooms. </li><li>Ensure accurate service and product sales accounting, handle payments, process credit/debit cards, and schedule future appointments. </li><li>Answer client calls for appointments, hospital inquiries, medication refills, and other requests. Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups. </li><li>Understand common vaccination protocols, basic lab tests, common diseases, veterinary terminology, and pet behavior. </li><li>Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization to ensure a positive client experience. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or medical office assistant preferred </li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking skills </li><li>Ability to maintain a calm, professional, and positive demeanor </li></ul> <p>About Lake Country Veterinary Care</p> <p>Lake Country Veterinary Care is a multi-doctor small animal general practice located in the beautiful Finger Lakes of Central New York.
