If so, lets talk.</p> <p>Your role and responsibilities</p> <p>A Hakkoda Data Governance Analyst will work with data teams in the formation and execution</p> <p>of data governance framework, policy, and standards. This role will help develop and</p> <p>implement data governance principles within various business areas of our client organizations</p> <p>in order to establish a unified, holistic approach to data governance and, ultimately, drive a high</p> <p>level of data quality throughout the organization. Keys to success in this role are the ability to</p> <p>build strong partnerships with business and IT stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have</p> <p>professional data governance experience, strong business acumen, and will be able to leverage</p> <p>these competencies to provide stewardship and oversight of critical data assets.</p> <p>What we are looking for:</p> <p>We are looking for people with experience designing and building enterprise data strategies for</p> <p>implementation, integration and usage of data. The successful candidate will have experience</p> <p>interacting with business and IT stakeholders to advance an organization's thinking of data</p> <p>governance concepts, ability to explain the benefits of data governance policies and procedures</p> <p>within the context of the business needs.</p> <p>As of April 2025, Hakkoda has been acquired by IBM and will be integrated in the IBM organization. IBM will be the hiring entity.</p> <p>Required education</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>Required technical and professional expertise</p> <p>? 7+ years of relevant data governance or data management experience (operating model,</p> <p>master data, metadata, data quality, data modeling and data standards)</p> <p>? 5+ years experience leading the development of enterprise data governance</p> <p>? Experience developing recommendations to improve accountability, quality, and</p> <p>adherence to data policies, standards and quality improvement efforts.</p> <p>? Experience in driving solution design and execution of data governance efforts that span</p> <p>across business lines, technology, and platforms to address enterprise data needs</p> <p>? Experience performing data audits, identifying data collection issues, suggesting</p> <p>improvements and implementing fixes</p> <p>? Experience defining and implementing data management frameworks that align with</p> <p>overall business and technology strategies</p> <p>? Experience with data governance and data quality tools such as Atlan, data.world,</p> <p>Alation, Collibra, etc</p> <p>? Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills</p> <p>? Ability to create critical collaterals for client workshops and customer interactive sessions</p> <p>? The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.</p> <p>This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan.
