<p>TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc. is searching for a talented team player to fill the open role of 2nd shift Lead Welder at our Shell Rock, IA site. As a Lead Welder at Trinity, you'll apply appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weld able materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches using manual, automatic welding, and/or semi-automatic welding equipment.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead a team of 10-12 Career and Senior Welders by assigning and prioritizing work tasks to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly safety, quality, and production goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in the completion of all tasks to meet deadlines</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain and improve quality</p> </li><li> <p>Lead and assist in the training and development of Career and Senior Welders as necessary to improve the team's skills and proficiency</p> </li><li> <p>Perform FCAW and GMAW welding on stainless and carbon steel</p> </li><li> <p>Perform full welds to subassemblies and to the tank</p> </li><li> <p>Hand weld in all positions, fillet and groove</p> </li><li> <p>Perform repairs to subassemblies for final product</p> </li><li> <p>Perform oxy-fuel welding</p> </li><li> <p>Perform carbon arc welding</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct multiple NDE tests</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all safety rules and practices</p> </li><li> <p>May be involved in safety committees or initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>What you'll need:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 4 years experience </li></ul>
