The Sr. Manager will be responsible for providing technical accounting and reporting research and guidance for financial transactions, developing and monitoring compliance with the Corporation's accounting policies and internal control requirements, analyzing proposed accounting standards, oversight of the external financial reporting function, and assisting in the development the Corporation's positions on emerging accounting and reporting matters.</p> <p>Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing and developing team members. We are focused on hiring individuals who possess a combination of strong leadership and technical skills and have a passion for being innovative and delivering exceptional ideas and service to our stakeholders.</p> <p>This position is located in Arlington, VA and requires to be in the office 5 days a week.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and manage technical accounting assessments and provide high-level guidance on complex transactions to senior management and key stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Provide ad-hoc technical accounting guidance and collaborate with the finance, legal, and operations teams on internal inquiries</p> </li><li> <p>Lead M&A technical accounting assessments, collaborating with internal teams and third-party specialists to determine accurate accounting treatment.
