<p>Gathers incoming prescription refill and Prior Authorization (PA) requests from NEVHC in-house, outside pharmacies and health centers. Under the supervisions of a pharmacist, determines if prescription refill request meets clinical parameters and addresses refill request accordingly, i.e. refills the medication or tasks the provider to refill. Contacts a patient care team or provider, as needed, for refills, medication changes, prior authorization, etc. Documents medication allergies, adverse drug reactions or potential medication problems in a patient's medical record, as reported by the patient or caregiver.
