This position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with some accounting experience to gain valuable hands-on experience in a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative professional who'll be responsible for supporting the hospitality division's financial infrastructure. As a Staff Accountant, you will assist in daily and month-end accounting tasks, contribute to the preparation of financial reports, and support the overall financial operations of the company.</p> <p>This role pays an hourly rate of $33.65-$43.26.</p> <p>Benefits for Full-Time roles: Health, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching, and Paid Time Off (vacation days, sick days, and 11 holidays).</p> <p>This position will remain open until August 15, 2025.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Performs weekly /period-end close activities including recording AR corrections, customer billings journal entries and bank and general ledger account reconciliations, and accounts payable/accounts receivable maintenance </li><li>Supports approximately 10 business entities with AR billing/collections/invoice and statement preparation </li><li>Records daily cash transaction for all entities assigned by the Director of Finance </li><li>Handles all customer inquiries and disputes timely </li><li>Various ad-hoc accounting and financial inquiries as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2-4 years of accounting related internship/work experience </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel </li><li>Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) </li><li>Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively </li><li>Ability to learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment </li><li>Maintain high energy, a positive attitude, and have a desire to learn and maintain an inquisitive mindset with a willingness to question the status quo </li></ul> <p>Strengthened by our Differences.
