<p>Description</p> <p>Full-Time Pool Staff</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>As part of the Pool Staff, you'll be responsible for enforcing pool rules and ensuring the safety of residents/guests in the pool area.</p> <p>Your Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Enforcing all pool rules and regulations in a polite and professional manner. </li><li>Ensure the safety of residents and guests utilizing the pool area. </li><li>Move equipment to pool area prior to family swim commencing. </li><li>Ensure bathers are showering prior to entering pool. </li><li>Clean up the general pool area by returning chairs and equipment back to proper locations. </li><li>Report any safety or maintenance concerns to Manager. </li><li>Attend pool monitor meetings. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of High School diploma. CPR Certification is desirable. </li><li>Experience and training in customer service is highly desirable. </li><li>Experience in an aquatic setting desirable. </li><li>Highly effective interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, and advanced communication skills a plus. </li><li>Must present a professional image. Must be outgoing and able to work with all types of people. Accountable for one's own work, decisions and safety of oneself and safety of oneself and others. </li><li>Capable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary. </li><li>Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or painting, with corrective lenses if needed. </li><li>Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 45 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary. </li><li>Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills. </li><li>Must be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes and delays. Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances. For safety reasons, employee must remain alert to working conditions and aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns. </li><li>Must be able to work effectively and cheerfully in an environment which may be stressful due to adversarial situations resulting from the proper performance of duties. </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>$15 per hour</p> <p>What We Offer As a full-time exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, vision, and others. Must be energetic. </li><li>Accountable for one's own work, decisions and safety of oneself and others. </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Capable of enforcing all pool rules and regulations in a polite and professional manner. </li><li>Ensure the safety of residents and guests utilizing the pool area. </li><li>Determine proper location for family swim based on weather conditions. </li><li>Move equipment to pool area prior to family swim commencing. </li><li>Use good judgment when determining lane usage. </li><li>Ensure bathers are showering prior to entering pool. </li><li>Use the public address system to announce the completion of family swim. </li><li>Clean up the general pool area by returning chairs and equipment back to proper locations. </li><li>Return pool lanes to their original configuration. </li><li>Attend pool monitor meetings. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Capable of working extended hours, to include evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary. </li><li>Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or painting, with corrective lenses if needed. </li><li>Must be able to speak English in a clear and understandable voice so that various types of communications may be conducted with people of various levels of education and capabilities, to include the exchange and receipt of information over the telephone. </li><li>Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 45 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day.
