In this exciting and immeasurably rewarding role, you will teach the required language to your assigned class of students in accordance with Berlitz instruction principles - maintaining student class records and fulfilling administrative duties as required or requested by your Instruction Manager. You will also participate in professional development courses and activities, ensuring your familiarity with goal-oriented and student-centered instruction.</p> <p>If you have native fluency in a language and a passion for both learning and teaching, then Berlitz may be the right place for you to utilize your knowledge and skills while developing yourself both personally and professionally as a Part Time Language Instructor!</p> <p>SUMMARY OF POSITION:</p> <p>Under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager and Academic Specialist, the English Language Instructor demonstrates commitment and passion to quality language instruction and education, representing as an expert in teaching and ambassador for Berlitz. The instructor teaches?the required languages to assigned classes of students and provides student support in accordance with Berlitz teaching and customer service principles.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver lessons in-person in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles: focusing on the goals, needs, and interests of students. </li><li>Meet with Academic Specialist regularly to participate in lesson evaluation and coaching plan to strengthen teaching skills and ensure SMART goals are met </li><li>Responsible for keeping student pedagogical and attendance records up to date </li><li>Integrate learning technology into teaching programs and maintain shared teaching resource materials </li><li>Perform duties as deemed fit for proper execution and delegated by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. </li><li>Teaching experience is a plus but not required. </li><li>Ability to speak English fluently. </li><li>Exceptional communication skills. </li><li>Basic administrative skills, and computer knowledge in order to deliver lessons, and maintain student records </li><li>Flexibility with work hours and availability </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:?While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
