This includes identification of potential hazards, equipment monitoring, manually pushing and pulling of barge covers, physically throwing chains, and communication with the panel operator </li><li>Perform housekeeping duties in respective work and break areas, as well as keeping barges clean: including sweeping, shoveling, and hosing down </li><li>Train to be knowledgeable in procedures for bobcat operator, lead person and leg operator, as well as troubleshoot problems as required </li><li>Control traffic through department and ensure that all visitors follow safety rules </li><li>Maintain a safe and sanitary atmosphere with a high regard for food safety and environmental impact of the operation </li><li>Attend various mandatory safety and department meetings </li><li>Assist other plant personnel as needed and will perform any other duty as requested by the production supervisor </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship </li><li>Must be 18 years or older </li><li>Ability to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written) </li><li>Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator </li><li>Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation </li><li>Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) </li><li>Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience </li><li>At least six months of experience in production related work </li><li>Forklift certified </li><li>TWIC card </li></ul> <p>Considered candidates will receive a phone call from a (952) area code.
