With a strong global presence, including a significant footprint in the United States, Heraeus employs approximately 16,400 people across 40 countries, all dedicated to shaping the future of technology and industry.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The following challenges await you:</p> <ul> <li>Lead, coach, and develop all site teams including Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and EH&S. </li><li>Mentor and develop a high-performing operations team, ensuring effective succession planning and talent management across the organization </li><li>Build and execute development plans for team members to grow technical skills, problem-solving ability, and leadership behaviors. </li><li>Own site-wide operational performance (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity). </li><li>Continuously improve operations through alignment with the Heraeus Production System (HPS) with a strong focus on driving a Lean Culture, drive technology enablement and digital strategy, implementation, and execution. </li><li>Drive process control improvements, ensuring manufacturing processes are standardized, measured, and optimized for consistency and quality. </li><li>Implement and sustain Lean Manufacturing principles, focusing on waste reduction, flow optimization, and process efficiency. </li><li>Oversee capacity utilization, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance programs. </li><li>Lead the enhancement of the site's Quality System, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and internal policies. </li><li>Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions with rigor and discipline. </li><li>Proactively champion Operations focused on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), driving a zero-incident culture. </li><li>Collaborate with EH&S teams to drive continuous improvement in site safety performance. </li><li>Serve as a key member of the Site Leadership Team, contributing to overall site strategy and decision-making. </li><li>Align closely with Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, HR, and Finance to ensure cross-functional excellence. </li><li>Partner with central functions to support broader business objectives, technology transfer, and best practice sharing. </li><li>Manage and oversee capital investments, ensuring strategic allocation and efficient use of resources across all areas of responsibility </li><li>Create a culture of exceeding customer expectations, ensuring that the organization is highly responsive to customer needs and issues. </li><li>Establish a proactive quality mindset to reduce defects, rework, and customer complaints. </li></ul> <p>Your Profile</p> <p>We are looking for people who are not just open to new ideas, but want to bring fresh thinking, energy and a creative perspective to their work. Some of the traits and qualifications the ideal candidate would possess include:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred. </li><li>10+ years' experience with progressive levels of responsibility in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, OPEX for a manufacturing leader in a similar scope/scale role. </li><li>Plant manager management experience </li><li>Demonstrated success in driving zero incident culture, with employee ownership of EHS. </li><li>Proven track record in building high performance teams, leading cross-functionally, developing and retaining employees, and driving organizational change. </li><li>Track record of successful leadership, performance results, organizational development, and operational improvement. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to improve process control, reduce variation, and drive sustainable operational excellence. </li><li>Strong knowledge of supply chain management, production processes, and quality systems. </li><li>Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of the organization. </li><li>Strong project, time management and presentation skills. </li><li>Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans. </li></ul> <p>Heraeus Precious Metals North America Conshohocken, LLC, is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
