For more information about our graduate programs, our faculty, and our students, applicants are encouraged to visit our PhD and MA programs' websites at https://www.hofstra.edu/music/.</p> <p>The successful candidate will possess a strong background in voice pedagogy, a consistent record of professional experience or emerging visibility as a performer/educator, and a demonstrated commitment to supporting a thriving and diverse undergraduate music program. The position focuses on teaching studio voice lessons to music majors and non-music majors in both professional and liberal arts degree programs with an emphasis on our burgeoning Music Business program students. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and dynamic educator with a proven record of industry excellence and a passion for diverse musical genres- a strong focus on Jazz, American Roots, Contemporary, and Commercial styles is a necessity. Experience performing or producing contemporary global styles including, but not limited to, Afro-beat, K-pop, J-pop, C-pop, and/or Contemporary Latin styles, a plus. Candidates should demonstrate a robust background in performance and have a strong record of teaching at the college level.
