<p>Assists the Campus Police Officers with protecting and maintaining the safety and welfare of the community.</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Must possess excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the community.</p> <p>Ability to speak clearly and distinctly when communicating in person, on the telephone, and via two-way radio.</p> <p>Must provide a positive, enthusiastic professional image, including wearing of the approved uniform. Must maintain a neat and professional appearance.</p> <p>Ability to exercise discretion in handling difficult situations. Must deal tactfully with others.</p> <p>Ability to maintain a calm manner in stressful and emergency situations.</p> <p>Must exercise sound judgement.</p> <p>Must be able to conduct oneself on an independent level as well as working with others.</p> <p>Must possess discretion and the ability to keep all records, communications, and other information relative to the nature of the department's work in absolute confidence.</p> <p>Reports to work on time and maintains regular attendance.</p> <p>Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.
