<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Elementary School Teaching/Early Childhood</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>6/25/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Romulus Early Childhood Center</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>TBD</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>Until Filled</p> <p>District:</p> <p>  Romulus Community Schools  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>POSITION: GSRP Support Staff (Non-union/Non-benefit position)</p> <p>LOCATION: Romulus Early Childhood Center</p> <p>WORK YEAR: Program Calendar (approximately 9 ½ months)</p> <p>WORKDAYS/HOURS: Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 3:30pm</p> <p>Every other Fridays 8:00am to 11:30am</p> <p>29.75 hours / week</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Early Childhood Education</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate or equivalent. </li><li>Experience or training in early childhood. </li><li>Neat in appearance, pleasant personality, and punctual attendance. </li><li>Ability to work well with others. </li><li>Ability to reflect on ways to increase effectiveness. </li><li>Ability to get along with and work well with staff, children, and parents. </li><li>Have basic knowledge of how to use computers and apps. </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Interact with the children in a positive manner. </li><li>Practice Health & Safety Standards. </li><li>Disinfect the toys, cots, and other equipment in your assigned classroom(s)/assigned area. </li><li>Use the laundry room to wash and dry the bedding. </li><li>Provide breaks for the team members in your classroom(s)/area. </li><li>Assist in the room where needed. </li><li>Keep equipment and supplies organized and neat in appearance. </li><li>Accept supervision and feedback as positive. </li><li>Work as a team with your teacher and assistant teacher. </li><li>Other duties may be assigned. </li></ul> <p>This posting should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position or that this is the exclusive list of job functions or expectations associated with this position. Often the noise level in the work environment will be moderate to loud. </li><li>The employee is required to interact with students, staff, parents / guardians, administration and occasionally with the public. </li><li>At times, the employee may be directly responsible for the safety and well-being of students. </li><li>SALARY: $16.00 / hr.
