We are a proud member of the Pacific Coast Building Products Family of Companies.</p> <p>Forklift Operator - $21.50 - $23.00 per hour DOE -</p> <p>Minimum 3 Years Experience</p> <p>POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Yard Superintendent, this position loads, transports, and unloads, various materials utilizing a forklift and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.</p> <p>SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Operates a forklift to load and unload trucks. </li><li>Arranges product in the yard and warehouses and keeps product straight and orderly. </li><li>Checks all products for quality issues. </li><li>Organizes and moves pallets to various yard locations as needed. </li><li>Dumps skip buckets of broken or damaged product. </li><li>Performs daily safety inspection of forklifts. </li><li>Maintains and fuels forklift including checking and maintaining oil and water. </li><li>Maintains clean and orderly work area. </li><li>Performs and signs required paperwork. </li><li>Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. </li><li>Must be available to work overtime, when needed, including weekend shifts. </li><li>Predictable and Regular attendance is required. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
