<p>UPMC East is hiring a Full Time Team Leader, Food Services!</p> <p>This position will work varied shifts with rotating weekends/holidays. Preferred candidates will be available for all shift times. Shift times are: 6:00am-2:30pm, 6:15am-2:45pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, 8:30am-5:00pm, 10:45am-7:15pm.</p> <p>Purpose:</p> <p>Support the Food Service Supervisor in all aspects of the daily operation, with emphasis on the training and development of food service associates.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supervise hourly associates and their adherence to all UPMC policies and procedures and department standards and guidelines. </li><li>Oversee security of inventory and cash revenues. </li><li>Orient, train, and coach new team members as per department guidelines. </li><li>Monitor all aspects of the department's food safety program routinely and take immediate and appropriate action to identified hazards. </li><li>Supervise services according to department standards and complete quality control and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. </li><li>Perform routine competency checks on associate performance with appropriate follow-through. </li><li>Conduct and document service recovery on all customer complaints as per operational guidelines. </li><li>Monitor food quantity and quality to ensure appropriate product is available for meal service according to menu and special requests. </li><li>Monitor all aspects of the operation's sanitation program on a daily basis to ensure inspection readiness at all times. </li><li>HS Diploma/GED preferred </li><li>2 years relevant experience required </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:</p> <ul> <li>Allegheny County Health Dept or other certified food protection manager certification required within 6 months of hire. </li><li>ANAB - National Accreditation Board OR Servsafe Certified </li><li>Act 34 </li></ul> <p>UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran</p>
