Although you do not have much past experience in facilities consulting, you are able to quickly learn the ropes. You may, however, have experience in pre-construction surveys, photographing sites, and generating reports - which is what drew you to this field. You also have a "can do" attitude and are ready to take on any project thrown your way - and that's why you'll have all the opportunity for career growth within our company you'll want.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a Building Enclosure Associate I to join our Southeast Facilities team in Nashville, TN. In this role, you'll work on projects involving inspections, testing, assessments, and commissioning of building enclosures for existing structures. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality consulting solutions to a diverse range of facilities and clients.</p> <ul> <li>Testing and consulting services for the built environment, property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigation analysis, and design of repairs to existing structures, among other facilities-related services </li><li>Exhibiting responsibility, organization, reliability, time management, and self-motivation </li><li>Performing field and laboratory testing </li><li>Assisting with preparation of reports, proposals, and projects </li><li>Assisting with projects as needed </li><li>Interacting with senior staff members on a variety of projects </li><li>Scheduling and oversight of facilities technicians </li><li>Promoting a safe workplace and proper use of PPE </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED required; B.Arch or M.Arch (NCARB) accredited by National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) or BS in Engineering, Building Science, or related degree from an ABET accredited college/university preferred</p> </li><li> <p>0-2 years of relevant building facilities consulting experience required</p> </li><li> <p>In lieu of education, 4 years as ECS Facilities Staff Associate or equivalent combination of experience, certification, and education required. Experience with non-destructive testing preferred. Professional certifications (such as NRCA/IIBEC, AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector) preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Facilities certifications are required for all types of testing performed.
