<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Under direct supervision, performs a variety of administrative duties including compiling, reviewing, scanning, and uploading documents electronically to ensure the agency is re-accredited.</p> <p>Reviews and maintains the agency's accreditation files in PowerDMS on a daily basis making sure all applicable standards are addressed and completed with proofs of compliance for the Accreditation Manager's review and final approval.</p> <p>Collects, organizes, and analyzes appropriate documents to be uploaded into PowerDMS.</p> <p>Investigates/researches problem areas and provides input to the Accreditation Manager regarding the content, accuracy, and completeness of proofs of compliance.</p> <p>Assists the Accreditation Manager with accreditation-related training provided to the agency personnel.</p> <p>Maintains a position-specific knowledge of principals, practices, theories, and techniques related to the accreditation process.</p> <p>Assists the Accreditation Manager and performs other duties as required.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>State Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>A high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience.</p> <p>Agency Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>A high school diploma and five (5) years of relevant work experience or a bachelor's degree and two (2) years of relevant work experience.</p> <p>Must be proficient in the use of personal computer and Microsoft Office software.</p> <p>Must possess excellent organizational and administrative skills.</p> <p>Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to communicate issues effectively both orally and in writing.</p> <p>Ability to think analytically and solve problems.</p> <p>Ability to work under strict deadlines; ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion in interpreting and applying policies/procedures and accreditation standards.</p> <p>Ability to exhibit initiative.</p> <p>Incumbent must be detail-oriented demonstrating excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently.</p> <p>May require lifting of boxes (25lbs).</p> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>The South Carolina Department of Public Safety is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals regardless of race, color, religion, sex, age, disability, pregnancy (including childbirth or related medical conditions), or national origin.
