This position will work with the SVM CIO and Director of Information Technology. This position is expected to work independently while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with faculty, staff, and students.</p> <p>Key Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>Consults and advises faculty about hardware and software appropriate to department's research, instruction, and administrative needs.</p> <p>Conducts investigations of emerging threats and incorporates improvements into security risk assessments, processes, and procedures</p> <ul> <li>Leads the development of procedures and training for daily administrative tasks for cybersecurity services and infrastructure </li><li>Ensures that change management processes are followed for cybersecurity services and infrastructure </li><li>Leads the design, development, and implementation of cybersecurity services and infrastructure and ensures that best practices and standards are applied </li></ul> <p>Installs, configures, monitors, tunes, and troubleshoots network- and desktop operating systems and other system software on hardware-based and virtual systems.</p> <ul> <li>Determines necessary technical changes to improve security </li></ul> <p>Department: School of Veterinary Medicine, Information Technology</p> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>Minimum salary is $95,824 annually.
