Utilizing advanced statistical methods and risk judgment, you will anticipate emerging risks, drive strategic decisions, and support responsible growth across a $1T portfolio. As a leader of leaders, your insights and commitment to continuous improvement will foster a culture of excellence, directly impacting business performance and operational effectiveness.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead risk analytics for a $1T mortgage servicing portfolio </li><li>Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to the Head of Mortgage Servicing, Home Lending Chief Risk Officer, and regulatory exam teams </li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Risk Oversight, Loss Forecasting, and Operations to empower evidence-based decision-making </li><li>Develop and execute advanced analytics strategies addressing portfolio dynamics (inflows/outflows, delinquency, forbearance, taxes & insurance, fixed/variable rate trends, natural disaster impacts, loss mitigation, construction, and bridge segments). </li><li>Ensure timely and high-quality reporting </li><li>Oversee SAS/SQL programming (e.g., ORACLE, Teradata) to integrate large datasets and extract actionable insights </li><li>Present complex analytical findings in a clear, strategic manner to senior stakeholders </li><li>Manage dashboards and reporting tools to track key risk metrics </li><li>Lead process improvement and innovation initiatives to enhance analytics quality and efficiency </li><li>Support internal and external audits through robust documentation and controls </li><li>Maintain a resilient internal control framework that balances productivity and risk mitigation </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field </li><li>7+ years of experience in Credit Risk or Analytics </li><li>3+ years of experience leading teams of 10+ employees, including managers of managers </li><li>3+ years of experience within a major financial institution </li><li>Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record of generating actionable insights </li><li>Showcase excellent communication and presentation skills, with demonstrated influence on senior stakeholders </li><li>Displays exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a substantial book of work and multiple stakeholder priorities in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Ability to maintain meticulous attention to detail and a strong track record of delivering high-quality work </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience in mortgage servicing, risk analytics, or financial services </li><li>5+ years of hands-on experience in SAS and/or SQL programming (ORACLE, Teradata). </li><li>Proven track record of innovation and process improvement </li><li>Proficiency in executive storytelling and data visualization </li><li>Experience collaborating with geographically diverse teams (e.g., in India and the US) </li><li>Familiarity with advanced analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) and techniques (e.g., logistic regression, principal component analysis) </li><li>Strategic mindset with a passion for leveraging analytics to drive business performance </li></ul>
