Join us, and discover why we are #1 in California and nine years in a row on the "Best Hospitals" Honor Roll.</p> <p>What's this role all about?</p> <p>As a full time Speech Language Pathologist in Acute Therapy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, you will have comprehensive knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques in a medical and physical disabilities setting.</p> <ul> <li>Perform evaluations </li><li>Demonstrate appropriate treatment interventions and strategies </li><li>Complete discharge planning for patients </li><li>Knowledge and experience with bedside swallow exams and video swallow evaluations </li><li>Must possess a minimum computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of Windows or comparable system (specifically including keyboard and mouse skills). As applicable to individual job duties and expectations, employee must additionally possess a working knowledge of word processing, databases, presentation development, e-mail, browser and online reporting. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited SLP program - Masters minimum </li></ul> <p>License/Certification Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Valid and current license as a SLP in the state of California </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) </li></ul> <p>What else are we looking for?</p> <ul> <li>Prefer experience in an acute care setting that includes clinical swallowing evaluations, modified barium swallow evaluations, speaking valve evaluations.
