<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Radiology Technologist (WEPP) will provide diagnostic imaging for patients to assist the patient's physician in expediting needed care. Job duties include performing or assisting in procedures per department protocols; maintaining a clean and safe work environment; utilizing proper procedures for identifying images, patients and marking images correctly for interpretation; and ordering exams that match the procedures being performed.</p> <p>Customer service is essential, and this position will address patient needs with age-specific criteria, from neonates to geriatrics. Call is required for this position, and the incumbent must meet the call back standards established for General Radiology. This position will also assist in a QA review to maintain professional standards for themselves and student technologists that they are called upon to assist.</p> <p>The starting pay for this position was recently adjusted. The minimum hourly rate for this position will now be $26.47/hour. All pay rates will be based on candidate's experience.</p> <p>Exciting new opportunity to work weekends at a premium pay rate. This position requires staff to work 2, 12-hour shifts each weekend, consisting of two morning or two evening shifts (specific hours vary by unit and must fall within policy).</p> <p>Weekend Premium Pay (WEPP) staff accrue vacation leave totaling 4 weekends per year. Other benefits provided to WEPP staff include university credit for health insurance, basic life insurance, and 200% retirement contribution.
