This position also assesses medical and psychiatric issues and concerns then address or make appropriate referrals. This position also approves potential admissions based on medical and psychiatric requirements. This position is responsible for consulting with the treatment team on primary diagnosis and co-occurring issues.</p> <p>Relationships and Contacts</p> <p>Within the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with peers and accounting team members throughout STR Behavioral Health and affiliated facilities.</p> <p>Outside the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with third party vendors, as necessary.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintaining a safe and secure environment </li><li>Help Clients by providing information, services, and assistance </li><li>Routine checkups and psychiatric evaluations of clients </li><li>Conducting follow up and evaluation of client physical and psychiatric conditions. </li><li>Prescribe medications as necessary </li><li>Document clinical, medical, and psychiatric treatments and recommendations </li><li>Oversee and collaborate with Clinicians on client's treatment plans </li><li>Participate in Clinical Treatment team meetings 2x a month </li><li>Pre-screen clients by reviewing psych and medical records for admission </li><li>Order Lab work and UAs as needed. </li><li>Minimum of two hours a week, depending on current census </li></ul>
