<p>Title:</p> <p>Statistical Reporting Specialist</p> <p>Company:</p> <p>Everest Global Services, Inc.</p> <p>Job Category:</p> <p>Operations</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Everest Insurance has an opportunity available for an experienced Statistical Reporting Specialist to join Everest Insurance's Statistical Reporting team in the Warren, NJ location.</p> <p>The Statistical Reporting Specialist will prepare and submit statistical reports and data calls to ensure compliance with statutory guidelines. This position involves researching and resolving complex data call edits, responding to inquiries from Rating Bureaus, and maintaining high data quality standards. This position will also be responsible for collaborating with other departments within the organization to provide accurate data in response to internal and external Data Call requests across multiple lines of business.</p> <p>Responsibilities include but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and submit Statistical Reports and Data Calls to state Insurance Departments, NCCI and Independent Workers' Compensation Bureaus, ISO, AAIS and other statutory and regulatory entities by published deadlines. </li><li>Research and correct complex unresolved edits prior to submission of unit reports. </li><li>Respond to inquiries and criticisms from Rating Bureaus to maintain statutory compliance. </li><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect and reconcile data. </li><li>Ensure all submissions are complete, accurate, and adhere to company and regulatory guidelines. </li><li>Identify data quality issues impacting reporting and propose solutions. </li><li>Analyze rate and other errors found in the ISO Quarterly Statistical Data Submissions and provide solutions. </li><li>Improve automation surrounding workarounds, reconciliations and systems supported extracts. </li><li>Provide statistical data to internal customers (i.e., Comptrollers, Legal, Underwriting, etc.) in support of various requests. </li><li>Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for enhancements implemented across platforms impacting statistical data. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>3-5 years of Statistical/Regulatory Reporting experience required. CPCU coursework or IDMA certification a plus. </li><li>3-5 years of experience with a commercial Property and Casualty Insurance carrier required. Accident & Health experience a plus. </li><li>Knowledge of ISO (Insurance Services Office) and NCCI statistical coding required. </li><li>Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of Financial Statements (Annual Statements, Statutory Page 14's, Insurance Expense Exhibits) required. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required. </li><li>SQL and Microsoft Access skills required. </li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. </li><li>Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to balance short-term and long-term deliverables independently. </li></ul> <p>For NJ, NY, CA, and IL Only: The base salary range for this position is $116,000 - $145,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.</p> <p>What if I don't meet every requirement?
