<p>Manufacturing Engineer</p> <p>Develops, plans, coordinates, and implements a large and important manufacturing engineering project, or several projects of a smaller scale, consisting of complex features in order to best support the plant and its operations.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices and manufacturing methods (machining, tooling, gaging) in broad areas of assignments. </li><li>Applies advanced techniques and modifies theories, processes, and/or practices within the scope of assignment. </li><li>Works independently, exercising a good deal of judgment. Receives guidance only on overall objectives and policy matters. </li><li>Works closely with manufacturing personnel to resolve process problems related to machinery testing and/or gaging. (Spends approximately 40% of time on the shop floor.) </li><li>May functionally supervise technicians and less experienced engineers.
