<p>PT CAMP COUNSELOR-SINGLETON</p> <p>PARKS & RECREATION</p> <p>Singleton Community Center</p> <p>PT SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR</p> <p>About the Role: As a Summer Camp Counselor at Singleton Community Center, you'll lead and inspire campers in a variety of age-appropriate activities that foster learning, creativity, and fun. Reporting to the Assistant Camp Director, Program Coordinator, and Youth & Family Program Manager, you'll ensure a safe and enriching camp experience while being a positive role model for all participants.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Lead engaging games, sports, and arts and crafts activities.</p> <p>Provide supervision, guidance, and discipline following established guidelines. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians. Maintain a clean and safe camp environment, ensuring proper care of facilities and equipment. Administer first aid as needed and complete required documentation. Adapt to various weather conditions and perform duties both indoors and outdoors.</p> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <p>Must be 18 years or older with a demonstrated ability to nurture and supervise children (1:16 ratio). Experience leading activities such as games, sports, or arts and crafts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals. A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Pursuing or completed a degree in Physical Education, Recreation, or a related field. CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within six months).</p> <p>Special Requirements:</p> <p>Must pass a driver's license, background check, physical examination, TB skin test and drug screening.</p> <p>Why Join Us?
