<p>Job Title: Construction Superintendent</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>This role involves overseeing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards. The Construction Superintendent will be working on industrial building projects alongside the General Contractor, managing both the construction crew and subcontractors.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee project schedule, budget, material ordering, and subcontractor management. </li><li>Ensure adherence to safety and OSHA standards. </li><li>Submit RFIs for design queries to the internal design team, architect, or engineer. </li><li>Log construction progress and submit daily/weekly reports to the project manager and client. </li><li>Assist with change requests and change orders. </li><li>Read blueprints, schematics, designs, and drawings and assist subcontractors with necessary questions, changes, and scheduling issues. </li><li>Submit building permits and schedule building and engineering inspections. </li><li>Collaborate with management on productivity, costs, quality control, document management, and application processing for payment. </li><li>Finalize the final punch list and assist with the completion of work. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Construction management experience. </li><li>Subcontractor management skills. </li><li>General contractor experience. </li><li>Ability to manage subcontractors effectively to align with schedules despite setbacks. </li><li>Strong communication skills with a customer-oriented mindset. </li><li>Experience in conducting owners' and subcontractor meetings. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with various building and construction inspections and permitting requirements. </li><li>Experience with industrial manufacturing facility construction. </li><li>OSHA 30 certification. </li><li>Knowledge of ICC (International Code Council) and IBC 2018 (International Building Code). </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment involves managing industrial construction projects with a focus on safety standards and quality control.
