<p>Akkodis is seeking a Senior Security Analyst for a Contract with a client in Boston, MA. You will lead the deployment and management of Proofpoint security capabilities to strengthen enterprise email protection.</p> <p>Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Senior Security Analyst job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leading the deployment, configuration, and optimization of Proofpoint capabilities including OCR, EDM, IDM, and policy-based controls.</p> </li><li> <p>Developing advanced security policies, detection rules, and reporting dashboards to strengthen email security posture.</p> </li><li> <p>Operationalizing the Proofpoint platform by creating SOPs, supporting triage workflows, and driving end-to-end incident remediation.</p> </li><li> <p>Investigating email security alerts, performing root-cause analysis, and coordinating resolution with cross-functional teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting use-case development by gathering requirements, validating detection logic, and delivering project-based enhancements.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining thorough documentation, updating platform configurations, and ensuring Proofpoint aligns with organizational security standards.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.</p> </li><li> <p>8-10 years of experience in email security, incident response, or security operations, including SME-level Proofpoint expertise.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven hands-on experience deploying and managing Proofpoint capabilities (OCR, EDM, IDM), including policy development, report creation, and platform optimization.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong ability to operationalize the Proofpoint environment through SOP creation, triage support, incident remediation, and effective collaboration across security and project teams.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
