<p>Apply Now</p> <p>PURPOSE: To work in the county recycling facility processing recyclable materials and operating heavy machinery. The position will routinely oversee recycling operations alone and during scheduled or unscheduled absences/vacations of the site supervisor. Recycle Works - West location: 2110 E. Pitman Ave. Wentzville, MO 63385</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION:</p> <ul> <li>Assists Recycling Center Supervisor in overall operations of the recycling center </li><li>Unloads and processes household hazardous waste, refrigerators, washers/dryers, 65+ inch televisions, etc. </li><li>Operates a variety of equipment including, but not limited to forklift/bobcat with multiple attachments, baling equipment, compacting equipment, crushing and grinding equipment, and hoist and loading equipment </li><li>May perform grounds maintenance tasks </li><li>May perform equipment maintenance and repair tasks </li><li>Will work alone some days with intermittent customer interactions </li><li>Will accept cash payments from customers and issue a receipt and change </li><li>Works with a computer and software </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from a general or technical high school or equivalent </li><li>Ability to lift up to 75 pounds </li><li>Prefer equipment experience (forklift, bobcat, bailing/compacting) </li><li>Other education, skills, and equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience may be considered. </li></ul> <p>TO APPLY: All applications must be submitted using the APPLY NOW link above.
