<p>Position Overview:</p> <p>Eminence Community Schools is seeking a proactive and student-centered leader to serve</p> <p>as K-12 Dean. This position plays a vital role in fostering a safe, respectful, and orderly</p> <p>school environment by overseeing student discipline and attendance across all grade levels.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is firm yet fair, values strong relationships with students and families,</p> <p>and is committed to creating a school culture that supports academic and behavioral</p> <p>growth for every student.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>? Serve as the lead administrator for all matters related to student discipline, including</p> <p>investigating incidents and assigning consequences.</p> <p>? Monitor and manage student attendance across the district; collaborate with families</p> <p>and staff, and community partners to address chronic absenteeism and promote</p> <p>regular attendance</p> <p>? Maintain accurate discipline and attendance records and prepare reports for district</p> <p>and state accountability</p> <p>? Develop and enforce school-wide behavior expectations and policies in collaboration</p> <p>with building administrators.</p> <p>? Communicate regularly with students, staff, and families regarding discipline and</p> <p>attendance matters.</p> <p>? Work closely with counselors, teachers, and support staff to identify students in need</p> <p>of behavioral or attendance interventions</p> <p>? Support building-level supervision during arrival, dismissal, transitions, and other</p> <p>non-classroom times</p> <p>? Assist in implementing positive behavioral interventions to reinforce positive</p> <p>behavior</p> <p>? Serve as a key member of the district administrative team, contributing to a safe and</p> <p>supportive learning environment</p> <p>? Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>? Minimum 5 years of successful experience in education, preferably in teaching,</p> <p>counseling, or a student services role</p> <p>? Strong knowledge of behavior management, student discipline processes, and</p> <p>attendance best practices</p> <p>? Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills</p> <p>? Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff</p> <p>? Experience working in a small, rural school community is a plus</p> <p>Eminence Community Schools pays 85% of single coverage or 65% of family</p> <p>coverage for group Health, Vision, and Dental insurance premiums.
