<p>Job Description: Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Advancement, the Director of Advancement Operations is a key member of the Office of Advancement team and provides oversight of a range of vital management, fiscal, and other fundraising and business functions. These include the effective use of financial information, data analytics, donor and prospect strategies, and Foundation-related resources in support of the college's ambitious fundraising and engagement goals. The Director plans and manages the operations, budgeting and administration for both the Office of Advancement and the STCC Foundation, in close collaboration with the STCC Division of Administration and Finance. In addition, the Director builds and manages annual giving, stewardship, and prospect tracking programs in support of the college's solicitation and stewardship efforts.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Strategizes with the Assistant Vice President of Advancement to manage the Division's budget, including Foundation-approved budget, and oversees all stewardship and administrative processes effectively and efficiently, including staff and college compliance with Chapter 15A, Section 37 of Massachusetts General Laws governing Foundations created for public institutions of higher education; Oversees and manages donor database, ensures data integrity, and leverages data to optimize effectiveness of fundraising efforts;Oversees budget and operating account expenditures; monitors fund stewardship and usage including reports on donor-endowed funds and current restricted gifts;Assists the Office of Advancement in developing and executing personalized stewardship activities; drafts and updates memoranda of understanding (between STCC and STCC Foundation; between the STCC Foundation and donors); coordinates gift acknowledgements and oversight for donor recipient/recognition events;Manages all corporate and Commonwealth matching gift programs; responsible for related documentation reporting and compliance; Manages the scholarship process and ensures timely awarding and disbursement of scholarships for direct Foundation-issued awards;Partners and collaborates with offices and departments across campus to support student scholarship recruitment and awards, program-specific campaigns and fundraisers, and associated reporting of funds;Oversees the financial operations of the STCC Foundation, assures compliance with internal controls, and facilitates a clean and timely annual Foundation audit, with guidance from STCC Finance;Conducts/completes quarterly and year-end budget, fiscal and summary donation reports; develops budget projections and analyses; reports on related fiscal matters and projects;Other duties and special projects as assigned.</p> <p>Requirements: QUALIFICIATIONS:</p> <p>Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience; higher education experience preferred;Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred, or evidence of equivalent experience;Experience with business/fiscal operations, including sensitivity with confidential information;Knowledge of gift processing procedures preferred; knowledge of Blackbaud/Raiser's Edge NXT/Awards Management a plus;Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community;A limited telework schedule is possible in accordance with college policy.
