<p>We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Program Manager - Therapeutic Services to join our team! This leadership role is ideal for a dedicated and compassionate professional who is passionate about driving high-quality therapeutic care and making a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.</p> <p>Purpose of the Position: The Program Manager of Therapeutic Services provides clinical leadership and operational oversight to the mental health and behavioral teams, ensuring high-quality, person-centered services across residential, vocational, and community-based settings. This role supervises clinical personnel, including consulting psychiatrists, and oversees the delivery of mental health services, medication management, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The Program Manager supports the development and implementation of effective, ethical treatment plans, clinical documentation, and best practices. This position must also be qualified to supervise individuals preparing for board certification as BCBAs or BCBAs, or those pursuing licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs).</p> <p>The Program Manager is responsible for all aspects of departmental operations, including oversight of the electronic health record (EHR) and data collection systems, budgeting, insurance contracts, staff training, performance evaluation, and regulatory compliance. As needed, this position may carry a limited caseload and serve as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).</p> <p>Essential Duties/Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Monitor and report on all program-related concerns to ensure service quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with organizational goals. </li><li>Oversee all departmental operations, including billing, insurance contracts, payroll, budgeting, data collection software, and other relevant accounts and systems. </li><li>Ensure high-quality service delivery by assessing staff, client, guardian, and stakeholder satisfaction in accordance with Imagine!'s mission and values. </li><li>Directly supervise clinical team members, including responsibilities for recruitment, onboarding, training, mentoring, performance management, and disciplinary actions. </li><li>Represent Imagine! in the broader community by attending stakeholder meetings, remaining current on legislative and regulatory changes, and building collaborative relationships. </li><li>As a BCBA, conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs), and collaborate with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to implement and monitor those plans. </li><li>As an LCSW, conduct clinical assessments, develop individualized mental health treatment plans, and collaborate with consulting psychiatrists and other clinical providers on shared cases. </li><li>Provide instruction, training, and ongoing consultation to staff and caregivers on implementing and monitoring behavior or treatment plans, including data collection and progress tracking. </li><li>Facilitate and present at clinical meetings, team meetings, and case consultations to promote effective behavioral and mental health outcomes, including crisis intervention planning. </li><li>Support the development, implementation, and review of policies and procedures related to behavioral and mental health services. </li><li>Provide professional training and consultation to families, caregivers, guardians, interdisciplinary teams, and oversight committees (e.g., Human Rights Committee) on ABA or mental health practices. </li><li>Serves as the primary point of support for the mental health clinic on designated clinic days, ensuring patients are checked in and receive appropriate care. </li><li>Coordinate and communicates with care teams regarding medication management, required documentation, and record keeping. </li><li>Schedules appointments, orders lab work and fulfills other medical-related requests as needed. </li><li>Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records and documentation in accordance with licensing and funding requirements. </li><li>Maintain certification and/or licensure in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or the Colorado State Board of Social Work Examiners. </li><li>Stay current with best practices, research, and emerging trends in the fields of Applied Behavior Analysis and mental health care. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <p>Knowledge, Skill, and Ability:</p> <ul> <li>General knowledge of Colorado's service systems, particularly those supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). </li><li>Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality, community-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services across the lifespan. </li><li>Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses, including proficiency in the DSM-5 and current criteria for identifying and supporting mental disorders. </li><li>Proven skills in behavior plan and treatment plan development, implementation, and evaluation. </li><li>In-depth understanding of Imagine! Behavioral Services, including practitioner roles and clinical expectations. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership, including mentoring, training, and guiding clinical teams. </li><li>Effective and creative problem solver and negotiator, with the ability to manage complex or sensitive situations. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across diverse audiences and professional levels. </li><li>Ability to work independently while effectively prioritizing tasks and goals for both self and others. </li><li>Proficiency with a variety of technologies, including word processing software, data collection platforms, electronic health records, and internet-based databases. </li><li>Strong work ethic and a commitment to the mission and values of Imagine!'s Behavioral and Mental Health Services. </li><li>Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to meet Imagine!'s driving requirements. </li><li>Regular use of a personal mobile device (e.g., smartphone or tablet) is required for this position. </li></ul> <p>Training, Education, and Licensure Requirements:</p> <p>Candidates must meet one of the following professional pathways:</p> <p>Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA):</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a closely related field from a nationally accredited institution. </li><li>Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). </li><li>Must uphold all legal requirements, ethical standards, and statutory rules related to professional practice and self-regulation. </li><li>Preference given to individuals who currently meet BACB supervision requirements and/or hold ACE Provider status. </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <p>Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW):</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Human Development, Psychology, or a closely related field from a nationally accredited institution. </li><li>Current licensure or registration in the state of Colorado as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in accordance with state regulatory requirements. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience, preferably supervising clinical staff in the delivery of behavioral or mental health services. </li><li>Two (2) years of experience providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including a minimum of 120 hours of direct support to individuals with complex behavioral needs or two (2) or more years of experience providing therapeutic services to individuals with dual diagnoses (IDD and mental health) preferred. </li><li>Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and other modalities effective in supporting individuals with co-occurring diagnoses. </li></ul> <p>Working Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Requires the ability to travel to various locations to meet with families, providers, etc. </li><li>Effective with shifting roles, responsibilities, and expectations in a changing environment. </li><li>Office-based with limited amount of remote work </li></ul> <p>Note: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the job.</p>
