This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.</p> <p>This position is contingent upon award news, expected early 2026.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform Systems Integration support for stage 4 and 5 test procedures development and test execution project for C5ISR systems</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, update, report and maintain complex project data sets including stage 4 and 5 test procedures and test results for C5ISR systems</p> </li><li> <p>Propose solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of the variety of factors</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize Risk Management Framework processes, or equivalent, to attain C5ISR systems authority to operate</p> </li><li> <p>Assess engineering change proposals and document risks and impacts to project milestones and deliverables</p> </li><li> <p>Support the proactive identification and mitigation of risks</p> </li></ul> <p>Please view our program page for more information and view all open positions available: https://jobs.saic.com/pages/shipyardc5isr-careers</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors and two (2) years or more relevant experience with one or more C5ISR systems: radio communication racks, Interior Communications(Alarm/Safety/Warning), shipboard CGOne/Unclass/SIPRNET LANs, Surface Search Radar, Navigation Distribution system, Integrated Bridge System; additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree </li><li>Prior experience providing support for a shipyard environment project </li></ul> <p>Required Security Clearance:</p> <ul> <li>Must have an active secret clearance on first day of employment </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Familiar with cybersecurity requirements and controls for shipboard systems </li><li>Experience with MIL-STD-2106 Development of Shipboard Industrial Test procedures </li><li>Demonstrates familiarity and understanding of all subject areas in Certification and Accreditation (C&A) </li><li>Knowledge of and experience with evaluating hardware/software functional requirements </li><li>Systems Administration of NIPRNET and SIPRNET </li><li>Cybersecurity Workforce Level II cert i.e. Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP and a Vendor operating system certification: i.e. Microsoft, Cisco, RedHat, or Linux </li><li>Or must be willing to obtain/pass certifications within 180 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Desired Systems C3ISR, C4ISR, C5ISR, and/or C6ISR Shipboard Systems Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Integrated Bridge System </li><li>Gyrocompass (e.g., WSN-7) </li><li>Surface Search Radars (e.g., AN/SPY-6, SPS-series) </li><li>UHF, HF, VHF Marine Radios </li><li>Shipboard Communication Cabinets </li><li>Shipboard Alarms and Interior Communications (Safety, Warning Systems) </li><li>Fathometer and Depth Sounding Systems </li><li>Global Positioning Systems (GPS) </li><li>Sonar Mission System (SMS) </li><li>Extremely High Frequency (EHF) Communications </li><li>NIPRNET, SIPRNET, SI LAN </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.</p> <p>SAIC is a premier Fortune 500 mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
