<p>About the Role</p> <p>Ontra is seeking a Senior Product Manager reporting to our Group Product Manager.</p> <p>To foster team connection and collaboration, this role requires being present in either our Santa Barbara or San Francisco office up to once per quarter for team meetings and off-sites. As such, we are only considering candidates who are currently based in California.</p> <p>We're looking for someone excited to lead one of our R&D teams as we build the future of our flagship Contract Automation product, with a particular focus on transforming the experience for our sell-side users and sell-side legal network. You will be tasked with inspiring confidence and curating a psychologically safe environment for your team to navigate change and innovate creatively. </li><li>Drive Product Strategy & Vision: Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering leaders to create, promote, and execute a product strategy that achieves our ambitious annual OKRs. You will ensure that your team's priorities have clearly defined goals that align with business outcomes understood across the organization. </li><li>Develop Cutting-Edge Solutions: Lead the charge in integrating AI and automation into the core Contract Automation workflow, focusing on solutions to dramatically improve the speed, accuracy, and efficiency of contract processing. </li><li>Customer Discovery and Validation: Conduct and drive customer interviews and validation sessions to gather insights that shape product direction. </li><li>Execute with Excellence: Translate business objectives into an actionable product roadmap, balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution to deliver measurable impact. You'll define, track, and share the outcomes of your team's work to demonstrate progress against our goals. </li><li>Collaborate to Win: Work closely with Go-To-Market (Sales, Marketing, CS) and Platform teams to ensure seamless product launches, drive adoption, and equip our internal teams with the knowledge they need to succeed. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Experience: 5+ years in Product Management, leading cross-functional teams in high-growth B2B SaaS environments. Background in legal tech, contract lifecycle management (CLM), or private markets is a strong plus. </li><li>Execution & Delivery: A proven track record of leading products from concept to launch, with full ownership of the product direction and a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes. </li><li>Strategic & Analytical Thinking: You are a strategic thinker who connects product initiatives to business goals and uses data, market insights, and user feedback to make informed decisions. </li><li>Prioritization: Skilled in creating and executing product priorities that drive measurable business outcomes. </li><li>Customer-Centricity: A deep passion for conducting customer discovery, understanding user problems, and translating those insights into impactful product requirements. </li><li>AI Familiarity: Passion for using AI to drive efficiency, both in your workflow and through AI/ML-powered product development. Experience developing AI-driven products is a strong plus. </li><li>Customer Discovery: Strong ability to conduct customer discovery and effectively translate insights into actionable product requirements. </li><li>Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to stakeholders and leadership. </li><li>Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and design teams to define scope, prioritize tasks, and deliver results. </li><li>Agile Methodology: Comfortable working in agile or iterative development environments. </li></ul>
