<p>About the Team</p> <p>Fanatics Collectibles is a company working at the intersection of collectibles and technology. Its product portfolio includes football, baseball, basketball, ice hockey, soccer, and other sports and non-sports trading cards, jerseys, hats, balls, bats, and photos.</p> <p>Topps Digital - Sports & Entertainment is looking for a Content Product Manager to help grow our digital collectible mobile apps. As a Content Product Manager, you will oversee content planning and strategy for one of the Topps mobile apps. You will manage a team of Content Producers, and work alongside other Product Managers, Designers, and Community Managers to help drive growth in the Topps Sports & Entertainment Apps!</p> <p>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR</p> <p>A passion for sports, particularly the NBA and NFL. You have a connection to the fan community and a collector's mindset. You also have a good grasp of what is current and popular among the sports community in general and an understanding of how trends can affect the collectibles market.</p> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Great planning ability. You will be creating a content roadmap for the entire year, and will oversee the proper and timely execution of the releases on this roadmap. </li><li>Strong organizational skills. You will be managing multiple concurrent projects, each in various stages of development. You will be responsible for coordinating a team of producers and designers to meet deadlines and ensure that all content releases go off without a hitch. </li><li>Great collaborator. You are a team player capable of clear and constant communication. With shifting deadlines and priorities everyone needs to be on the same page and you keep your team updated on your project statuses and are ready to pivot when needs change. </li><li>Fast Learner. You are always looking to improve and grow. You are able to use analytics and experience to improve the quality of content over time and can independently develop improvements that provide app users with the best possible experience. You thrive in a fast paced environment and can quickly incorporate new learnings to immediately improve your products. </li><li>Driven by innovation. You are eager to experiment and create new strategies that help drive business growth and improve the user experience. You can take high-level objectives and find unique solutions that help the team achieve its goals. </li></ul> <p>DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Hand on the pulse of the industry: Extensive passion and knowledge of the collectibles market and the collector experience. Ability to use this knowledge to find opportunities to serve collectors in the Topps mobile apps and beyond. </li><li>Content pipeline management: Oversee content development process from raw asset gathering to design production to partner approval to release to end user. Understand the time and resources sunk into each step in the process and balance these factors to achieve a sustainable content plan. </li><li>Content Strategy: Set the parameters for all content releases including timing, pricing and structure. Understand how different strategies achieve different results and use this knowledge to hit revenue objectives. </li><li>Management of the Content Experience: You will drive the collector experience in your app, from how the store is organized to the schedule of content releases. You will balance monetization goals with engagement events to drive growth in your app in a sustainable way and provide the best possible customer experience. </li><li>Partner Relationship Management: You will be the face of the app when meeting with partners. You are able to clearly present results and pitch new app ideas for approval. You ensure that we are adhering to guidelines established by partners for the use of their content. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Extensive knowledge of collectibles markets, especially in trading cards. Passion and interest in the NBA and NFL including current and past seasons and up-and-coming collegiate stars. </li><li>3-5 years of professional experience in content development, project management or product management. </li><li>Strong understanding of basic sales and marketing principles including cohort targeting, customer lifetime value, and pricing strategy </li><li>Experience working on mobile games or mobile entertainment platforms a plus </li><li>Familiarity with Confluence, JIRA or other task management tools a plus </li></ul> <p>In NYC, the salary range for this position is $77,500-$95,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. In Los Angeles, the salary range for this position is $71,300-$87,400. The listed salary ranges are specific to NYC or Los Angeles and may not be applicable to other locations. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.</p> <p>Ensure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don't fall victim to fraud.
