<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Tampa, FL.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements </li><li>Support month-end and year-end close processes </li><li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies </li><li>Assist with internal and external audits </li><li>Analyze financial data and provide insights to management </li><li>Maintain and improve accounting procedures and controls </li><li>Mentor junior accounting staff and support their development </li><li>Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives </li><li>Other duties as assigned* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) </li><li>4+ years of progressive accounting experience </li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards </li><li>Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills </li><li>Self-driven and self-motivated, little to no guidance needed to complete tasks </li><li>Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical skills </li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities </li><li>Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines </li><li>Effective communication and problem-solving skills </li></ul>
