<p>Transportation Aide</p> <p>4.5 hours per day (6:30-8:30 am and 1:30-3:30 pm)</p> <p>Starting salary: $17.95 per hour</p> <p>MINIMUM SKILLS/JOB REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or its equivalency.</p> </li><li> <p>Possess effective communication skills; both oral and written.</p> </li><li> <p>Willingness to assist with the requirements of special needs students.</p> </li><li> <p>Possess a positive attitude toward special needs students.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift and/or manipulate body weight of children - minimum weight 50 lbs.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to climb stairs and lift/manipulate wheelchairs with students.</p> </li><li> <p>A record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.</p> </li><li> <p>Meets qualifications defined in the current Ohio Revised Code, Ohio Pupil Transportation Operation & Safety Rules, and School Board Policy.</p> </li></ol> <p>Mad River Local Schools is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and adheres to all applicable federal and Ohio state laws, regulations, and executive orders concerning non-discrimination.
