<p>The Opportunity</p> <p>Lesley University is seeking a Temporary Core Faculty to join our Psychology+ department. We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated educator with expertise in psychological disciplines such as cognitive psychology, lifespan development, and personality theory. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate psychology courses related to those fields in both in-person and online remote modalities.</p> <p>In addition, this role involves providing proactive and holistic academic mentorship to undergraduate students, helping them shape their academic plans and professional goals-especially in areas related to psychological research. Responsibilities also include participating in department meetings, serving on university committees, and engaging in scholarly or creative work that advances knowledge in the candidate's field of expertise.</p> <p>Qualities and Capabilities</p> <p>A successful candidate will have:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have a PhD or PsyD in the areas specified above or closely related to the described fields.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have a record of successfully teaching undergraduate students and evidences a student-centric pedagogical approach that places an emphasis on experiential learning.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have a publication/presentation history in areas relevant to the field of psychology.
