<p>Low Voltage Technician</p> <p>We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and maintain low voltage systems across commercial and/or industrial projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and working in the field as part of a collaborative team.</p> <p>What This Role Does</p> <ul> <li>Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including data, voice, security, access control, and surveillance </li><li>Run, label, and dress CAT5e/CAT6, fiber, and other low voltage cabling per project specifications and industry standards </li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings </li><li>Install and mount devices such as cameras, card readers, access panels, switches, and network racks </li><li>Test systems for functionality and compliance and perform necessary adjustments </li><li>Document work completed and communicate project progress with supervisors and project managers </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment </li><li>Follow safety protocols and company installation standards at all times </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li><li>Basic understanding of low voltage systems and cabling practices </li><li>Ability to read basic drawings and installation plans </li><li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts as needed </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in low voltage, telecom, security systems, or structured cabling </li><li>Knowledge of CAT5e/CAT6, fiber optics, access control, CCTV, or fire alarm support systems </li><li>Industry certifications (BICSI, OSHA, manufacturer certifications) </li><li>Experience working on commercial or industrial job sites </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay based on experience </li><li>Opportunities for training, certifications, and career growth </li><li>Stable work with a supportive team environment </li><li>Tools, equipment, and PPE provided </li><li></li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauwatosa, WI.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
