<p>Position Overview:</p> <p>Urgent Care for Children is seeking a dedicated, board-certified Pediatrician to join our team. We have both full-time and PRN opportunities available. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality pediatric care, supporting our Nurse Practitioners, and ensuring compliance with state standards.</p> <p>Clinic Hours - Madison Location:</p> <ul> <li>Monday - Friday: 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. </li><li>Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. </li></ul> <p>Full-Time Schedule (14 Shifts Monthly):</p> <p>Our full-time schedule offers a thoughtful balance of structure and flexibility. We collaborate closely with providers to build schedules that meet clinic needs while supporting a healthy work-life balance. Full-time providers work 14 shifts per month, with rotating weekends, and adjustments can be made as needed.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide clinical oversight and collaborate with Nurse Practitioners to maintain exceptional pediatric care. </li><li>Work in-clinic shifts alongside Nurse Practitioners to deliver direct patient care. </li><li>Complete monthly quality reviews of patient charts in accordance with state regulations and company procedures. </li><li>Evaluate, assess, document, and provide appropriate interventions for pediatric patients. </li><li>Be available to Nurse Practitioners for consultation via phone or email. </li><li>Supervise multiple Nurse Practitioners, offering guidance, feedback, and support. </li><li>Execute and renew collaborative agreements as required by Alabama state law. </li><li>Conduct site visits and performance reviews for supervised providers. </li><li>Perform other duties as required by law or company policy. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>MD or DO from an accredited medical school. </li><li>Board certification in Pediatrics. </li><li>Active Alabama medical license. </li><li>Strong pediatric urgent care skills. </li><li>CPR and PALS certification (required). </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment. </li></ul> <p>Benefits & Perks:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive compensation. </li><li>Malpractice insurance coverage. </li><li>Supportive, collaborative work culture. </li></ul> <p>About Urgent Care for Children:</p> <p>Founded in 2017 and headquartered in Birmingham, AL, Urgent Care for Children serves patients from birth to age 21 with a commitment to innovation, exceptional service, and patient-focused care.
