We go the extra mile to develop and retain quality associates and offer a career path to leadership roles with greater pay - an approach our customers acknowledge and appreciate.</p> <p>Responsibilities Include:</p> <ul> <li>Directs associates to perform operations safely and efficiently </li><li>Documenting & communicating with associates, host management, transportation partners, and FHI leadership to ensure performance standards and safety goals are accomplished </li><li>Review staffing levels and needs.? Partners with Talent Acquisition to ensure an adequate candidate pipeline </li><li>Responsible for hiring, development, promotions, and terminations of associates </li><li>Targets and supports areas of improvement, including but not limited to DART rating, OT expenses, Overtime, Turnover, and Payroll percentages.? While education can be a valuable asset, it is not a strict requirement for success in this role </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience receiving or unloading in a warehouse or distribution setting?preferred </li><li>Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience required </li><li>Supply chain management experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of warehousing & logistics, preferred </li><li>Ability to speak, read, and write English for effective communication </li><li>Basic math skills </li><li>Attention to detail and ability to follow directions </li><li>Leadership skills and ability to supervise people and production effectively </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check?with a hair follicle drug screen </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>This position is designated as safety-sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner is required.?
