The ideal candidate will be a journeyman electrician with strong mechanical skills and experience in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. The role requires the ability to read electrical one-line schematics, work within a preventive maintenance program, and source parts efficiently to minimize downtime.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include maintaining machinery in clean, reliable working condition, replacing motor brushes, and using a Fluke meter to test motors, circuit breakers, fuses, and contactors. Experience in removing and installing bearings, as well as fabricating metal components from raw materials, is highly valued. Candidates should also have completed relevant safety training and hold applicable OSHA certifications, such as Lockout/Tagout or Arc Flash.
