Ready to bring your best?</p> <p>How You Will Make Contributions That Matter</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supports the payroll team for all activities involved in the US payroll cycle.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for gathering and reconciling timekeeping data, processing employee payroll changes in Workday, review, and audit periodic payroll reports for their designated US payroll groups.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs audits of timekeeping data to ensure adherence to Saputo pay rules and other specific federal and state compliance requirements in the US. Responsible to address the non-compliant issues and works with the Payroll Manager and plant HR to resolve.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible in ensuring compliance with US Federal, State and local laws when processing payroll.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for processing ad hoc files from 3rd party vendors, such as garnishments and relocation payments.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for auditing union dues and issuing payment for their designated pay groups. Responsible in correcting /communicating any variances and catch-up of dues.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible in Auditing /Reviewing integrations between timekeeping and payroll systems to ensure data integrity.</p> </li><li> <p>Main point of contact with employee inquires and assists with the delivery and communication to plant HR/payroll regarding new payroll processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible in balancing year-end W2's, analyzing and issuing of W2C's if required.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for auditing and processing of off-cycle payments for their designated pay groups.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible in gathering payroll data as required for internal and external payroll audits. Responsible in ensuring that the appropriate approvals are received from the sites and performs follow-ups when required.</p> </li><li> <p>Creates and run various payroll reports in Workday for distribution to the plant HR team.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists Payroll Manager in evaluating current payroll processes and implement improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Other projects as assigned by Payroll Manager.</p> </li></ul> <p>You are best suited for the role if you have the following experience, skills, and qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum five years in US payroll processing for mid to large size companies.</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Accounting or related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of multi-state, multi-jurisdiction environment, taxes and labor for the US</p> </li><li> <p>Analytical thinker and team player.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with ADP (Smart Compliance), Workforce and Workday.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organizational/communication and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Excel to include at a minimum Pivot table, v-lookup and some formulas.</p> </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $61,820 - $81,140</p> <p>salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, skills, education, and training.</p> <p>In the USA, Saputo ranks among the top three cheese producers and is one of the top producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products, with a portfolio of well-loved brands such as Stella, Frigo Cheese, Montchevre, Stella, and Treasure Cave.
