<p>Description</p> <p>In this role, you'll become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the development of the electrical hardware for all-electric pick-up trucks and rugged SUVs </li><li>Be a part of the vision of engineering excellence & source of knowledge </li><li>Supports development of new PCBA designs by setting up test stations and supporting circuit debugging. </li><li>Implements repairs/design changes to PCBAs based on test results. </li><li>Builds, tests, and installs wire cable assemblies. </li><li>Troubleshoots electrical assemblies using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, and RF signal generators. </li><li>Performs failure analysis of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). </li><li>Supports subsystem integration activities by assembling components and/or assemblies. </li><li>Partner with other concept & systems architect teams to come up with solution to engineering & functional challenges </li><li>Hands-on prototyping and building capability, from initial operation to coordinating and implementing software </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <p>Must Haves:</p> <ul> <li>4+ years of experience in development, repair or maintenance of electrical hardware, cabling, subsystems. </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend board and harness level schematics. Use of electrical CAD (Eagle, KiCAD, etc…) is preferred </li><li>Proficiency with solder station for PCBA rework/repair </li><li>Experience using electrical lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, arbitrary waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, and RF signal generators </li><li>Proficient with using hand tools such as screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and multimeter </li><li>Motivated individual wanting to work at the cutting edge of electric vehicle technical design, create new ideas and solutions, enjoy hands-on testing </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills including ownership, self-motivated, problem solving, analytical, team player, innovative, creative, communication skills and ability to develop & mutually thrive in working relationships </li><li>Proven ability to work in a truly cross-functional and global environment </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract position based out of Novi, MI.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
